"Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man." Swami Vivekananda has enlightened us with this powerful quote but it is up to us, the so-called "rational human beings" to find its meaning in its truest sense. He sought perfection in humanity but most humans have turned perfectly imperfect in their life.
We have no dearth of educated mass on this planet but to be precise and prudent they are mere literates but not well educated. There is a fine line between being educated and being literate and this is the duty of man to rise from one aspect to another. In today's scenario and in view of the current pandemic it is evident that man can control anything but not the fury of nature. The so-called educated people have failed to protect themselves because they were always busy in competing with their rivals to become superpowers.
True education never teaches us to look out of ourselves for making a change rather it teaches us to be introspective and to look within ourselves to be a better person and that would automatically bring change in our surroundings in which we reside. Man has time and again fell into the trap of greed and ambitions of power which has resulted in so much hue and cry.
We have miserably failed to provide quality education based on values, virtues, and ethics but have surely succeeded in creating a rift in all spheres by falling prey to hatred, greed, violence, and selfishness. And that is why today if we do not stand for ourselves no one else will do so because everyone is busy making their own lives glitter at the cost of the suffering of others.
