Amidst truckload of sand

looking for treasure;

I went ahead with life

in search of pleasure.

Lamenting my fate

for where it headed me;

faced the wrath of cruel world

that caused me mere dismay.

Agonising my soul 

I went against the tide;

caught in the whirlpool of pain

where there is no way to end the ride.

Reached a point

where life came to still;

will u ever believe 

that I never acted to my will.
